  1962 nominee “Genius+Soul=Jazz” is the actual nomination, but it’s only available on YouTube. This was so freaking good. I’m so bummed it’s not available on Spotify. A lot of these nominations feel like a good reflection of the direction the music industry was heading, but this album felt like it was ahead of it’s time/an album that was helping move music forward to new, exciting things. I loved it. I think Judy Garland’s album deserved to win, but if this album had won instead, I would have said the same thing about this. They were both solid albums. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
