Jangly and full of affection for late 80s early nineties alternative rock, The Blue Herons score serious points for nostalgia here. The strongest track, "Electric," bears an undeniable resemblance to "Summertime" by the Sundays in all its glistening, shimmering beauty. Similarly, it's perfect for starting the hottest season.
