  This release by Ducktails has a certain magic to it. One commenter on Bandcamp wrote, "This is an important album, no matter how balearic and joyful the music sounds like." I would say the atmospherics add to the impact. Watercolors is jazzy, breezy (not unlike The Sea and Cake), and light while still being substantial. "Confession" is a standout. Jangle pop fans will find a lot to like about this release.
