nilminI decided to listen to Heavy Metal for the first time while staying up late by myself to finish off some work. But Heavy Metal wasn't interested in letting me multitask. It grabbed me by the ears and pulled me to face it.
Winter's voice demands my undivided attention, and I'm so glad it does, because his lyrics might be even better than his voice.
At one point during my first listen of Heavy Metal, I literally held my heart. At another point, I laughed, then did a double take to stare at an empty space in the room, as if the music was as present in the space with me as much as I was present within it. Go(o)d shit.Fave tracks: Drinking Age, Cancer of the Skull, Nina + Fields of Cops, $0.
