JamesBilly Woods and Elucid rap like they’re navigating collapsing systems in real time. The production—murky, fragmented, constantly shifting—creates the feeling of overhearing transmissions from different rooms at once. Neither rapper simplifies his ideas into clean narratives, which gives the album its unsettling depth. It’s dense music that rewards repeated listening because so much meaning stays partially obscured.
