  The album balances noise-rock abrasion with genuine melodic warmth remarkably well. Dean Spunt and Randy Randall make feedback and distortion feel emotionally expressive rather than merely chaotic. Songs often sound physically frayed but emotionally hopeful underneath. It’s punk-informed music that values texture and atmosphere as much as aggression.
