He left for a long time and for a long time I bit my tongue because The Melodic Blue was good but it wasn’t great. But when he was almost forgotten in the ever quickly moving rap scene he came back, Baby Keem. Ca$ino is the story of hardship he promised us, it’s the detail of growing up in the desert, the casino. This album still presents his unique style with squeaky voices, abhorrent lyrics and excellent sampling. But unlike it’s predecessor it holds a level of maturity and experience that only comes with time. Baby Keem will most likely only get better with time, so who’s to say if he’ll release something better later on. For now though I’m happy with this banger.
