  This one is a bit hard to classify. I'm going to go with black metal, but of a really grimy and guttural variety.

  Sign Of Evil seems to be a Chilean band, although I was not able to find much information about them. This is their second full album and I like it a lot. Lyrically, it's the usual stuff—the devil, death, gruesome torture—but musically, it's got a lot going on. Under the speed-metal veneer, Psychodelic Darkness is pretty unsettled and unhinged.

  Check out track 2 ("Sulphur Smell") for a sample of everything going on here. The warped, off-kilter piano really did it for me.
