  Even though it's the first new release I listened to today, I will be pretty surprised if Coronach does not end up being my favorite release of the week. That's no shade on any of the other stuff that came out today; it's that this album is just that great.

  Hellripper is a one-guy black metal outfit from Scotland, and holy Toledo—true to the name, they RIP. The black metal I was expecting is definitely there, but punctuated by some truly excellent riffs and speed.

  I cannot say enough good things about this record, so I will stop here and just say GO LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM NOW.
