My top (Almost 100) Albums of all time.
It took me awhile to get into this one, but much like all the other sub-rock genre albums on this list once I was there I was stuck. Fontaines D.C. are an Irish folk inspired rock band that seem to progressively get more creative with each album they release. Skinty Fia is a beautiful haunting collage of self hatred and external devotion, to not just love but this sort of mythic mirage as well. It's hard to explain but really impactful once you hear it for yourself. Grian Chatten the lead singer is very in line with the current wave of rock leads either pretending they can't sing or pretending they can, he's a bit of both I reckon.
"I don't think we'd rhyme, I will wear you down in time."
