  A concise and focused album from a period when Pollard was releasing music at an astonishing pace. Rather than feeling rushed, the songs display a craftsman's attention to melody and structure. The album moves briskly, with very little wasted motion. Several tracks feel like overlooked GBV classics hiding in plain sight. It's one of the stronger releases from his prolific late-2000s run.
