  Favourite Track: Dramaqueen

  Notes: Eloise’s songwriting has a classic, old-soul quality to it. You can hear the jazz standards influence, but on this album the production is much more forward and in your face - the drums are doing a lot of that. Gorgeous brass arrangements punch in and out to accentuate tracks and it’s a joyous listen. Special mention to “Resisting Your Love” where she does, for one track, really lean off the modern production and the songwriting and her message becomes everything.
