  I only heard this recently and it blew me away. I don’t know how to articulate jazz-thoughts that well... But lemme try....

  With minimalistic art, each choice carries a lot of weight. There’s only 3 instruments this album, and the drums barely even count. Basically, this sounds like a sparse dialogue between a sax and a guitar. And each note they choose to play sounds better than anything I would have tried to do if I was playing alongside them (not that I’m really a good enough musician to do anything close to this..but even if I was just guessing what the next notes would come next, I’d be way off).

  Good musicians know when, and when not to play. They don’t do too much. But every note they hit is intentional.
