  Unfortunately, I missed this Boston band’s set at RPM Fest last weekend. I got to chatting with them at their merch table later in the evening and made a note to myself that I should check out this album.

  It’s pretty good. The Mastodon influence is strong here--doom-inflected heavy metal with a hint of stoner--and they are not doing anything super-original or groundbreaking. That said, the songs are well-played and I enjoyed listening to all of them.

  “All” and “Blinding Star” are the stand-out tracks, I think.
