  Hailing from Valparaíso, Chile, Critical Defiance has been around for 10-15 years. Looks like a fair number of line-up changes, with singer and guitarist Felipe Alvarado being the one constant. This album is their fourth full-length release.

  Rivers Of Blood is a pretty solid slab of death-infused thrash. The band is not doing anything ground-breaking here, but I still like it a lot. The riffs are great, the songs are tight, and the album doesn’t overstay its welcome.
