  2026/09 Listening Log

  Beanis

  Genre: Japanese Progressive Folk Metal

Amazing instrumentation, memorable songs, and bursting with personality and flair. You gotta love that shamisen!

One of the most interesting and unique metal albums of the month. That said, I wish this was a bit more aggressive and manic like the other stuff I’ve heard from them.

  Tier: B
  (Better than average)
