  2026/09 Listening Log

  Beanis

  Genre: Nu-Metal

I have to admit, I kind of dig what these guys are going for. They have some catchy tunes here, and there’s clearly an effort here to go beyond what nu-metal traditionally has been. Unfortunately, it’s brought down by a lack of strength and passion in both the instrumentation and vocals. It’s rich in original ideas and personality, but lacks impact.

  Tier: B-
(Better than average, but just barely)
