  Pete Brown

As has long been my habit, if I see a band from Finland on the new metal releases, that’s my first stop. There was maybe one time when this strategy steered me wrong; usually these bands are pretty great and if nothing else, they’re usually at least interesting.

This one does not disappoint. I don’t know much about the band, other than that they’re from Finland and this seems to be their first album. I’d say it is toward the doom(ish) end of the death metal spectrum, but it still rocks pretty hard.

I’ll probably give it another listen before the weekend is out.
