  2026/10 Listening Log

  Beanis

  Genre: Blackened Americana Metal

This is a strange one! Despite having a fair bit of black metal in its guitar tone and vocals, there’s also a lot of instrumentation suggesting Americana, Blues Rock, and other similar influences. Sometimes it’s just straight up heavy metal as well.

It’s really interesting, and a breath of fresh air in a month full of very formulaic metal music.

  Tier: B
  (Better than average)
