2026/11 Listening Log

Genre: Grind

Another awesome album from this Norwegian grind outfit. Playful, aggressive, and moshy as hell.

Tier: B+
(Better than average, and then some)

Genre: Metalcore

It’s such a shame when bands that are so good at making gnarly heavy shit then go and ruin it with this polished, overproduced, saccharine, toothless clean vocal stuff. Such a shame.

Tier: C-
(Cool, but not my thing)

Genre: Neo-Jazz

Honestly the coolness factor of this record is quite undeniable. It’s a smooth, rich, and almost sensual listening experience. However, it is something I need a very specific mood or context for to enjoy, and that’s ultimately a weakness for me.

Tier: C+
(Cool, I like it)
