David’s Top 25

Albums here mean something to me, or at least did at some time.

  1. This is the Bright Eyes album I return to the most. It’s dense with perfect turns of phrase. Some of Conor’s best writing about “stray dog freedom.”

  2. The Killers

I had a pulse and hearing in 2004. Favorite memory is my mom and I driving home from Florida listening to this album on full blast and sing shouting through mouthfuls of Combos to try to stay awake.

  3. In fifth grade I played Counter Strike on Xbox every day with IcemanBMF. He told me to buy this album. I did and I listened to it constantly.

  4. The Warning

The first rock record that hooked me in a very long time. They go hard.
