Favorite Albums

  1. One of the few albums that spans more than a single season in my life. Not for everyone, but I adore it.

  2. Mac Miller

I came to Mac Miller late. I still remember when this came out. I was wandering around the Denver airport, talking to my brother. He told me I needed to give this a listen. It became the soundtrack for an entire season of my life, to be followed by Circles.

  3. Andy Mineo

One of my favorite concepts of all time. He released a bunch of music from his vault, along with a podcast explaining the story of each song.

  4. Russ

People say it's corny. I am corny, so I like this a lot. Wonderful music for the newly single era I was in at the time.

  5. I think I've heard this album over 50 times. Just incredible. All vibes.

  6. One of the first full albums I bought and loved. So much nostalgia, plus it holds up surprisingly well.

  7. nobigdyl.

I rarely think of this one as one of my favorites, but I find myself coming back to it over and over again. There are no skips for me on this one. Such a range of anthems to intimate portraits.

  8. The Kid LAROI

Found this one randomly, but fell in love with the production. Perfect for my moody days when I'm in my feelings.

  9. An incredible album from the song writing to the singing. Great for so many occasions.

  10. Valentin Prince

My go to for any type of situation that calls for easy listening. Lovely guitar.

  11. Bryant Barnes

Super moody, which can get old. But when the mood hits, it hits.

  12. 21 Savage

Missed this one when it first came out, but love the variety on here. There's the traditional ATL vibes here, but also a deeper hum of self awareness I found lovely.

  13. Sho Baraka

Any hint of social conscience I have started with artists like Sho Baraka and Lecrae. Part of my fascination with American history started with this album. Should be required reading for US high school students.

  14. Asake

Man what to say... How can you not dance to this album?

  15. Zach Seabaugh

Great songwriting here. Slingshot got me hooked but I stayed for Plastic Flowers.

  16. SIENNA SPIRO

A modern day Amy Winehouse in the making. Back to Blonde is a great reference and it delivers.

  17. I don't now how to describe this one. Just play it. You won't be disappointed.

  18. I've heard albums Chopped and Screwed, but I've never heard one redone like this one. I feel bad saying I love this album, but don't even like the original. Since I Been Gone in particular is great.

  19. Frank Sinatra

    A classic.

  20. I was late to James Blake but wow. What an artist. So much range on this album.
