Listening Log

  1. 21 Savage

Missed this one when it first came out, but love the variety on here. There's the traditional ATL vibes here, but also a deeper hum of self awareness I found lovely.

  2. Andy Mineo

One of my favorite concepts of all time. He released a bunch of music from his vault, along with a podcast explaining the story of each song.

  3. One of the first full albums I bought and loved. So much nostalgia, plus it holds up surprisingly well.

  4. I've heard albums Chopped and Screwed, but I've never heard one redone like this one. I feel bad saying I love this album, but don't even like the original. Since I Been Gone in particular is great.

  5. Frank Sinatra

    A classic.

  6. Valentin Prince

My go to for any type of situation that calls for easy listening. Lovely guitar.

  7. Sho Baraka

Any hint of social conscience I have started with artists like Sho Baraka and Lecrae. Part of my fascination with American history started with this album. Should be required reading for US high school students.

  8. Zach Seabaugh

Great songwriting here. Slingshot got me hooked but I stayed for Plastic Flowers.

  9. Bryant Barnes

Super moody, which can get old. But when the mood hits, it hits.

  10. Asake

Man what to say... How can you not dance to this album?

  11. I was late to James Blake but wow. What an artist. So much range on this album.

  12. Russ

People say it's corny. I am corny, so I like this a lot. Wonderful music for the newly single era I was in at the time.

  13. The Kid LAROI

Found this one randomly, but fell in love with the production. Perfect for my moody days when I'm in my feelings.
