Van Der Graaf Generator
I just love this album, and I had what was probably an original pressing many years ago which I sold when I was selling a lot more than I do nowadays. I’m happy with this rerelease though, sounds very good and it’s great to hear the album again in all its vinyl glory.

CAKE
Another very cheap find online and my first Cake on vinyl. I want to collect them all. When you’re in the mood then Cake are hard to beat, and with summer knocking on the door, I fancy I’ll be in the mood a lot more in the coming months!

Jellyfish
Used to have this on CD, still do I think, and thought it about time I had it on vinyl. I think of this album every now and then and play it constantly for a week or so, then it goes back again into the recesses of my mind. Hopefully now I have it on vinyl I’ll play it more. It’s a fantastic album.

A charity shop find. Honestly, just purchased because it’s by Miles Davis (although all tracks written by Michel Legrand) and I’m trying to build up my Jazz collection. I don’t think it’s particularly that good, but a couple stand out. Letter As Hero, for example, is a fine track.

Pete Townshend
I had this original release when I was younger, but didn’t much like it. It was the only half speed remaster from Townshend/The Who I didn’t have, so, after streaming and realising my youthful ear was wrong to reject it so quickly, I bought it to complete the collection.

Muddy Waters
I’m relatively new to blues and jazz collecting from the 50s and 60s, and this was found at a price I couldn’t say no to. It’s a re-release, not the original Chess version. The album is often referred to as the first live blues album and is very well thought of. Rolling Stone included it at number 348 on its list of "500 Greatest Albums of all Time"
