Album of the Week (2026 Edition)

Album of the Week… for some reason.

  1. W17: One of my favorite albums by one of my all-time favorite bands. This one is lesser-known, and I believe it was originally intended to be released under David Coverdale’s name.

  2. Dreams So Real

W16: A hidden gem from the late 80s. This album is frequently missing from streaming platforms.

  3. W15: The title alone makes this a winner. Rude rock ’n’ roll at its best.

  4. Temple Of The Dog

W14: A U.S. supergroup founded by the outstanding singer Chris Cornell (1964–2017).

  5. Element Of Crime

W13: Grandioses Album! Mein Lieblingsstück von der Platte: „Wenn es dunkel und kalt wird in Berlin“.

  6. W12: Fish may have recently retired to some Scottish island, but his music is still with us.

  7. The Quireboys

W11: Time to listen to the Quireboys again.

  8. W10: Jeff Beck, Ronnie Wood & Rod Stewart — how much better can it get?

  9. Joe Bonamassa

W9: Reminds me of the days when Joe Bonamassa was still an up-and-comer — a must for blues and rock guitar lovers.

  10. Herbert Grönemeyer

W8: Ein Klassiker aus den 80ern. Geniales Cover und "Kinder an die Macht" wäre auch heute das Richtige.

  11. W7: Remembering the great Gary Moore. This album is the real blues. I own the (blue) vinyl version.
