Namoh’s Top 10 K pop Albums of the Year
-
NMIXX
This album is absolutely my number one album of the year. It showcases their versatility, and they handle many different styles of music with ease.
-
TAEYEON
This is completely my personal bias, she is the K pop queen in my eyes, and the album is full of her classic songs.
-
MEOVV
Last year’s breakout rookie immediately caught my attention when they debuted, and I’ve been eagerly waiting for their comeback. The song production by Teddy is as much to my taste as always. The only downside is that their comebacks are too slow and too few…
-
WENDY
As a Wendy fan, I’m really happy that she was signed by another company and immediately released this album. Her singing, as always, perfectly captures my heart.
-
NMIXX
NMIXX again, I was fortunate to hear this album live. The final chapter of the FE304 trilogy, it’s also a perfect album.
-
FIFTY FIFTY
After going through the turmoil of some members leaving the group, I really enjoyed their style from last year’s Love Tune album to this year’s Day & Night. The production of the songs is also very exquisite.
-
ILLIT
When I first listened to this album, I didn’t immediately like any of the songs, but after listening a few more times, I realized that each song suits them perfectly. Their cute yet quirky style is really their strong suit.
-
Yves
She has completely created music that reflects her own personality, and she handles the songs and matches her vocal tone exceptionally well.
-
CORTIS
The only male group on the list, they successfully bring an American hip-hop vibe into K pop.
-
KiiiKiii
I have to say, kiiikiii is my pick for the 2025 K pop Rookie of the Year. They obviously haven’t received much attention yet, but I believe they have great potential, and I’m confident more people will notice them in the future.
