The Summer of '94

Music from high school past...

  1. Can't sing ✅
    Can't play ✅
    Rock your face off ✅

  2. Temple Of The Dog

Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam guys coming together for one big Seattle funeral. Epic.

  3. Red Hot Chili Peppers

I'd never heard anything like it in my life. Now, I've heard it one million times, and it's still not enough.

  4. Stone Temple Pilots

Dead & Bloated, Wicked Garden, Creep, Plush... An album full of bangers.

  5. Give me some grungy power pop, and I'm a happy guy. This album scratched an itch.

  6. Alice In Chains

Remastered in 2022, but alive for the masses in 1992.

  7. Not the coolest band, but when alone and with the windows up, you could rock just fine.

  8. Beastie Boys

I had this on cassette. It was green, and it was the coolest.

  9. Toadies

I was in Dallas, they were in Fort Worth. We couldn't believe we had a local band like this being played on radios everywhere.

  10. I think I respected him for his then-marriage to Gwen Stefani, who was the coolest in the world.

  11. That one album has I Alone, All Over You, and Lightning Crashes, and not being a "best of" album is unreal.

  12. No lie. Our class song was Loser. They let us play it for every senior event.

  13. The Smashing Pumpkins

Kick it off with Cherub Rock and then just keep going.

  14. Nothing on the top but a bucket and a mop and an illustrated book about birds. Enough said.

  15. Ten
    Pearl Jam

God forbid this CD ever get a scratch. It was a near-daily must listen.
