My Own Ambient, Rock, & World Music

My own releases that lean ambient, rock, folk, jazz, or world.

  1. Sarah Wallin Huff

In “High Strung,” the friction of horsehair against strings ignites with powerful sound and proves that classic instruments can do more than just soothe—they can howl and shred!

Featuring the musicianship of Sarah Wallin Huff on violin and viola and Marina Tseova on cello, a blistering original for string trio kicks things off, setting a visceral tone with relentless drive. Then this EP dives into genre-blurring tributes, transforming the raw energy of Guns N’ Roses and the rhythmic intricacy of Pat Metheny into vibrant string arrangements that refract their legacies through a chamber lens. In this crucible of past and present, chamber strings are incendiary forces of reinvention.

  3. Sarah Wallin Huff

In 2017 I had the pleasure of working on some original chamber orchestra music for portions of the underscore of “A Little Something About Noel,” a sweet short film by Paul Garcia. From Garcia: “Based on a tumblr post: ‘Someone should write a book where the main character slowly falls in love with the reader.’ I don’t write books so I decided to make a film about it. I dedicate to the main character in all of us. I hope you enjoy it.” View the short film at www.youtube.com/watch?v=yof-Po8fLnc
