Archy's full length debut is a luminous display of a teenager's wild abilities and raw emotion. For the tracks being conceived in his Zoo Kid era and this project being released in 2013, most tracks are still timeless and brimmed with an impressive amount of craft, depth and emotional maturity. The album's minimal instrumentation makes it feels your wandering in a transcendental space land.

Least favorite: Ceiling

This feels like being a young adult, dazed, skating across the streets of an urban city at 4 AM, beneath city lights, wandering home. A place where the sky is a swimming pool and the ground is Mars' surface. Throughout this album, there are surges of energy, states of depressive limbo, and moments of abyssal frustration. Archy sounds aimless on this, but despite the despondent atmosphere I get to bathe in, there's still catharsis. Favorite King Krule LP and was the soundtrack to a great part of my junior year of HS.
