Best of 2024
Last year was all about looking for bliss. I’ll spare you the stupid details. I had a lot on my hands. Listening to music is my oasis.
In no particular order, here are my favorite albums of 2024, starting with new releases, then reissues and new-to-me albums.

The CureBeen a lifelong fan through the ups and downs. Songs of a Lost World finally recaptures the band’s essence after being a bit lost and wandering. Have to agree with Andy Miller, Robert Smith’s lyrics, while still bleak as ever, demonstrate a new level of maturity. Last year they opened each show with “Alone”, so we all got a lovely teaser. Worth the wait.
More nightmares in sound.
