Music Log 2024: Probably Mostly Synth

Serengeti's work as Kenny Dennis and Ajai is absolutely incredible. At this point I don't think any other concept album(s) even come close. The arcs of these characters are funny, weird, clever, sad, and mesmerizing. I was not prepared for the conclusion of this album.

This came out on 12/31/2023, so functionally it's the first release of 2024 for me. MAVS was one of the first synth artists I discovered and he had a string of great releases in 2023, concluding with this. It's a solid four song EP with a chill and funky vibe and I'm excited to hear whatever comes next.
