Grammy Album of the Year Award Winners and Nominees
1973 nominee this felt like the epitome of the ‘70’s to me. The sense of humor, the sound, the cover/album title. It was a fun listen, and I would listen to it again. But it was such an epitome of the ‘70’s that it felt a bit scattered (he played in so many of the musical trends that there was a pretty wide variety of sound), but it also didn’t necessarily sound like it’s own thing, more just an amalgamation of the other artists hitting their stride at the time.

Exeter Excursion
My introduction to Harry Nilsson was from the outstanding soundtrack of Russian Doll. I’d heard others before, not really knowing who they were by, but Gotta Get Up was the first one to hook me. This LP was £10 and in VG+ condition all round.
