  I had a friend named Steve. He introduced me to Badly Drawn Boy via the song Everybody’s Stalking. I liked it enough to buy the whole album.
  I’m glad I did.
  I miss Steve. That era of my life, and almost the entire circle of friends I kept at the time, are behind me. The only person who kept in contact with me is Amy.
  I’m glad she did.
