2026 Listens

I listened. I was not pulled in.

TIL: In 2024, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis released a concept album based 1979 movie The Warriors, a true cult classic. They changed a fair bit of the story. I haven’t seen the movie in 20 years, so I couldn’t really follow the story. Interesting, but didn’t grab me.

This is some good funk. Some real good funk!

It’s pretty good! I liked it a bit with my kids listening to it nonstop, but after seeing them in concert: Nice!

Nothing has reached Golden Hour for me, but this is pretty nice. Will give it a few more listens.

I miss their lyrics, which are often delightful, but still a nice listen.

Never stop Metric'ing, Metric. "Time Is A Bomb" is especially clever to my ears.
