Great but hard to listen album for me. Feels lengthy for a 10 song album but that's part of its strength. Addicted to the second song on the album. That song's guitar parts are written so well while being so simple.

kinoue64
first album of theirs I listened to. Mythical algorithm pull off my youtube recommended.
While of course a lot of music (or any online media atp) discovery nowadays is due to algorithms, I prefer finding albums through connections rather than 'brain frying addictive code' made to keep you hooked. I still love my youtube mythical pull when I get pure treasure

such a unique vibe. this artist nails their own style so well. I need more time to find words that describe them. Album art speaks a lot I guess.

Yuragi
possibly yuragi at their heaviest shoegaze. I always thought of this album as the japnese shoegaze classic. It really is beautiful and more haunting. It sounds like a cry for help but still knowing you will find peace. It feels like accepting things will feel like drowning, but hoping for a change.

Yuragi
great album, pleasant and surrealistically grounded? two descriptors that don't fully go together, but both describe this album

Not to get into the habit of assorting my music listening with drugs, but... do I want to listen to this on lsd

Kinokoteikoku
While more dreampop than shoegaze, I have memories of cleaning casino bathrooms and sitting on the porch in one of my lowest moods.
probably this artists most cohesive work, but its hard to give that title to any of their albums. some compete well. -
Kinokoteikoku
i mean, it's kinokoteikoku :)
listened over and over again in work when I worked at a casino. That job sucked and this marks a certain part of my life too. Appreciated a lot of the notes in this one yet Its hard to pinpoint songs as easily as kinokoteikokus 2012 album. Ill update if things change, but Uzuninaru is still the perfect album for me.

Kinokoteikoku
This album found me at the right time in my life. I have heavy feelings when I listen to it.

Parannoul
CRUNCH AND PEIRCING. an overwhelming storm of shrill guitar noise, treble cranked in waves, and clicks in lofi vocals. Near ballads, longform, and dissonant emotional weight.
The ablum ends with a quick fade out and it feels so incredibly fitting.

Someone recommended this album in a forum about the kinoko teikoku album: EurekaThey said this artist had the albums to back up that the japanese/korean shoegaze scene is better than the western ones
Thank you for introducing me to this, internet brethren :)
