Best albums ever recorded by mankind

Good music

  1. Los Enanitos Verdes

Best Alternative Album spanish language ever produced. Bought the cassette on my mission in Chile 1986. Definitely stands the test of time melodically.

  2. Christopher Cross

First full album (cassette) I ever bought. Thanks, Chris. Probably the best yacht rock album ever recorded.

  3. Prefab Sprout

Heard “Don’t Sing” on KSPC one night in my room on a random school night my senior year. Hooked ever since.

  4. I rarely flipped this album to side 2 because side one is so good.

  5. The Smiths

Bought it at Rhino. Went to Kirk’s house to spin it. Mesmerizing first listen. Like nothing I’d heard before.

  6. Keane, Hopes And Fears

    Hauntingly good.

  7. Everything But The Girl

Post mission. On my turntable nonstop. The B sides are as good as the A sides.

  8. Haircut 100

Junior year high school. I connected visually and aurally with these guys.

  9. The Who

The "Real Me". Best bass/drum work in rock history. First album I really identified with. It spoke to me during my "Mod rebellion" in high school.
