Gateway Drugs

The key to this list is not so much the album as the artist highlighted in the notes. The album was my 'gateway' into that artist. Key point - not my first exposure to that artist ... who could not have been aware of Bowie before Low, or Eno in Roxy Music long before Bush of Ghosts, or for heaven's sake Nick Cave before 2016!

So no, these albums aren't a record of their first album but rather the album that made me sit up and revisit the back catalogue and make sure that I kept track of that specific artist going forward.
