My Favorite Albums

Everyone should listen to these but that’s just my opinion…but like also fact so do with this list what you will

  1. Kilo Kish

    Electro-pop Synth-pop // Dance Pop // eclectic // melodic

Kilo Kish is just that artist that can never miss. her vocals style is instantly recognizable and does a great job to tie the adventurous production together. Some really catchy choruses to be found all throughout the track list. Head will be boppin’ and you’ll catch yourself singing the hooks even when the music is off.

  2. Pretty Sick

Indie Rock // shoegaze // noisy // female vocals // Grunge

Pretty sick headed by front woman Sabrina Fuentes is really a band that more people need to pay attention to. They just released a new album that is also really good but this bad boy has always had my heart. It’s loud and abrasive in a good way but on other hand it has tracks that are mellowed out. Devil In Me has an incredible guitar instrumental and Physical has this beautiful 80s synth sound.

  3. Eartheater

Cloud Pop // ethereal // melancholic // aquatic // sensual

There is no possible way for me to describe this album in a way that will do it justice. trinity, like irisiri, is just the natural progression of eartheater's music, and it completes her transition into full-on electronic beauty. it's more...aquatic? than anything she's ever done if that makes sense and the immersive production really helps with that feeling. Tracks that really hit are pearl diver, runoff, and solid liquid gas.

  4. Arca

    Hyperpop // Art Pop // Experimental Hip-Hop // androgynous vocals // abstract // mechanical // Glitch Pop

Not for the faint of heart. You go from a nice reggae-tone influenced banger to a soft ethereal track. Like you really get the best of both worlds from Arca here.

  5. Wifisfuneral

Florida Rapper // Cloud Rap // Moody

I was rooting for Wifi after the drop of this debut. Honestly his best and most cohesive project ever. Full of bangers to cry too. This man has a similar mood to xxxtentacion here and could have had the same trajectory as him if his follow-ups weren’t so…..generically mid. Lost My Mind and Fallen Solider/Nobody are heat.

  6. Julia Jacklin

    Folk // Singer-Songwriter // breakup // Melancholy

Julia was one of the first folk artist I started listening to and let’s say she did not disappoint. There’s this level of maturity but naivety in the writing that really draws you in. Like her experiences could very well be one of my own. She’s just really good at being relatable while pairing it with great lyrics and production.

  7. Sade, SadeOfficial

    Soul // Sensual // Jazz // Soothing

It’s Sade and if you don’t know who she is don’t waste time go ahead and just listen to the album.

  8. Jazmin Bean

Alternative Metal // Female Vocalist // Alt Pop

It’s not perfect…but it is. Outside of her killer look Jazmin’s music is definitely hard hitting. I mean the sometimes violent lyrics and super clean production really helps it but it’s Jazmin’s personality that really translates onto some of the tracks. If you wanna listen to metal influenced music with soft core influences you should give this a try. Song recommendations from this album would be Saccharine and Princess Castle.

  9. Adrianne Lenker

    Folk // Acoustic // Soothing // LGBT // nature

Home girl went to a cabin in the middle of the woods and recorded this album on an old recorder. Just amazing vocals and a guitar. You can sometimes literally hear the birds and rain sounds in the background. Don’t get me started on the writing on this bad boy either. I think this is her most popular album but that’s for good reason. Listen to Two Reverse, Forwards beckon rebound, and not a lot just forever.

  10. Donna Missal

Female Vocalist // melodic // Pop Soul // Alternative R&B

People don’t talk about Donna Missal enough and I’m over it. She has great vocals and the production is super clean. Thrills and Jupiter are standout tracks but I think all the tracks on the album are solid and worth listening to.

  11. yeule

    Ambient Pop // Synthpop // Dream Pop // Glitch Pop // Ethereal // Atmospheric// Lush // Melancholic // Mellow

CHECK THIS OUT!!! Like Yeule is a low-key baddie. Like the music will have you in a trance. It’s so calming but it sounds so good while also creating an atmosphere you can get trapped in. Every track is good and I suggest you go ahead and put it on the aux and get lost in the simulation.

  12. Alternative R&B // Bedroom Pop // Lush // Romantic // Melodic

This is such an intoxicating album. The quietness and tenderness of the atmosphere that her voice creates is so pretty. Either way Orion could very well be the mother of my children cause she is all of that and this album is just another instance of that. Either way listen to intoxicated and antidote.

  13. Florida Rapper // Hip-hop // Lyricist

Pouya is one of the best Florida rappers hands down and this album solidified that. His flows, lyrics, and production is always top tier. He goes from talking about love to being a gang banger so much diversity I swear. Imma be honest with y’all tho it’s like two songs on here that ain’t all that but they’re fine. Either way check out Florida Thang and Superman is Dead if not the whole album.

  14. Haley Heynderickx

    folk // female vocalist // acoustic guitar // singer-songwriter

One of my favorite folk albums of all time. It lulls you into a sense of peace and serenity. The instrumentation and vocals come together to give you such a nice listening experience. Listen to Show You a Body because it hits you in the heart bro.

  15. alternative // mellow // groovy // shoegaze // indie rock // sad songs

SoKo is so underrated and I wished her artistry was more appreciated. She goes full post-punk psycho mode here, and you've got to admit it suits her. The album is pretty good throughout and I highly recommend it.

  16. Me
    Empress Of

    electric pop // synth pop

Empress of is just that gurl. Listen to water water and tell me that the song doesn’t hit. A nice little electronic pop debut.

  17. Alice Phoebe Lou
