2025 - Week 19: Rob's Listening Log #6

The latest albums I'm listening to! Week of May 5th through May 11th

  1. Radiohead

A morning listen to this eerie, foreboding, depressing yet at times uplifting album was what the doctor ordered.

  2. Robert Belfour

Needed me some hill country blues this morning.

  3. One of the goddamn originals. Shoutout to my friend Rachel for getting me an album of his on vinyl and The Black Keys for keeping his name alive.

  4. GETTIN' THE LED OUT.

  5. Creedence Clearwater Revival

    Can't stop, won't stop.

  6. Creedence Clearwater Revival

Back on my bullshit (listening to copious amounts of CCR).

  7. Daft Punk

God, this whole album is bangers. I am really sad I never got to see Daft Punk live. It was a bucket list item for me until the in essence broke up :(

  8. Queens of the Stone Age

A stellar debut top to bottom.

  9. Colter Wall

Really, to me, one of the best records of its decade and perhaps the millennium so far. He's a true poet with the country western credentials to boot.

  10. Very odd yet amazing album.

  11. David Bowie

A stunning end to a stunning career.

  12. This may be my favorite Bowie album. It's up there with Station to Station certainly.

  13. Twin Peaks

Maybe one of the most slept on bands in the mid-aughts. This album in particular is solid 60s garage rock top to bottom, not a skippable song to me.
