2025 - Week 19: Rob's Listening Log #6
The latest albums I'm listening to! Week of May 5th through May 11th
-
Radiohead
A morning listen to this eerie, foreboding, depressing yet at times uplifting album was what the doctor ordered.
-
Robert Belfour
Needed me some hill country blues this morning.
-
Junior Kimbrough
One of the goddamn originals. Shoutout to my friend Rachel for getting me an album of his on vinyl and The Black Keys for keeping his name alive.
-
Led Zeppelin
GETTIN' THE LED OUT.
-
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Can't stop, won't stop.
-
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Back on my bullshit (listening to copious amounts of CCR).
-
Daft Punk
God, this whole album is bangers. I am really sad I never got to see Daft Punk live. It was a bucket list item for me until the in essence broke up :(
-
Queens of the Stone Age
A stellar debut top to bottom.
-
Colter Wall
Really, to me, one of the best records of its decade and perhaps the millennium so far. He's a true poet with the country western credentials to boot.
-
Arctic Monkeys
Very odd yet amazing album.
-
David Bowie
A stunning end to a stunning career.
-
David Bowie
This may be my favorite Bowie album. It's up there with Station to Station certainly.
-
Twin Peaks
Maybe one of the most slept on bands in the mid-aughts. This album in particular is solid 60s garage rock top to bottom, not a skippable song to me.
