  After not dropping an album in about a decade, Green Day came out with a bang with "American Idiot". If you know me, I love two-part songs, and this is the best showing of that on any rock album I've ever heard. "Are We the Waiting / St. Jimmy", "Holiday / Boulevard of Broken Dreams", and "Jesus of Suburbia" are all just roller coasters to say the least. An undeniable classic.
