A Break From My Playlists

Keeping track of my walks down memory lane as well as my efforts to discover new things.

  1. Vampire Weekend

Some tracks on here I liked, but ultimately not my jam. A little too chaotic for me in parts.

  2. Mike Stinson, Johnny Irion

Irion is the former front man for Queen Sarah Saturday. Really enjoyed this album. Great collab! Final two tracks are solid!

  3. Sam Fender

Inspired to check him out after watching Shrinking Season 1 (lead song was featured). Exactly what I needed this morning. Last to Make it Home has all the feels.

  4. The Outfield

Couldn’t find anything new this morning, so I went with old reliable. Never lets me down.

  5. The Connells

Home alone. Cleaning floors. Music blaring.

  6. Remi Wolf

Good workout music, but not sure I’ll listen again.

  7. 3AM in Chicago is so good.

  8. Miley brings it. Every. Single. Time. “Used to be Young” is tremendous.

  9. This one turned 33 yesterday, so I had to give it a spin. Found myself singing out loud while on the trainer. One is just a tremendous tune.

  10. Decided to listen to something the kids are listening to. Really enjoyed Red Wine Supernova, HOT TO GO!, Kaleidoscope, and Pink Pony Club. Shades of Radiohead on Picture You.

  11. Material Issue

This time, it was a race down memory lane, college edition.

  12. 2X4
    Guadalcanal Diary

For this workout I wanted to go back to high school. Took the bike trainer on a nice ride down memory lane.

  13. The Zombies

I was drawn to this after checking out a podcast about a fake band pretending to be The Zombies. Didn’t know much about The Zombies, but, wow, what an album!
