  2. Infinity Knives, Brian Ennals

DNF but did hear a bit more to write this.

Originally I gave up on this album cause it got political (which I obviously don't mind lol) but too on the nose political like, the first song is literally: this guy is a nazi, this guy is a terrorist, this guy is a dumbass. The idea was there but the execution was terrible for me and by the second song it sounded like the same. But after hearing a bit more (no entire song though) I found that the later songs were a bit better. No hate though, but I didn't like this album that much.

Best Songs: Everyone I Love is Depressed; Trevoga; Sometimes, Papi Chulo

  3. Kevin Abstract

DNF it's chill but IDK. Not saying it's bad tho

Best Songs: H-Town; Danny's Track; Yoko Ono

  4. Emma Goldman

I didn't really enjoy it much. They scream a lot and instrumentals sound very similar, idk not much to say.

Best Songs: it rubs the boycott ketchup on its brand new slacks; this is your brain on minimum wage; at rock bottom I was a piss girl

  5. Way too much fry screaming, like bitch sing, let your vocal chords rest a bit damn.

    Good instrumentals tho.

Best Songs: Body Behavior; Heathen; Amethyst

  6. Imperial Triumphant

Too "heavy". I love metal but this ain't it. I can hardly understand a word they're saying and the instruments just blend together in a way that makes it a big conglomerate of noise. It does have some songs that are not like that which I do enjoy. Overall, it's ok I guess.

Best Songs: Goldstar; Lexington Delirium; Industry of Misery

  7. XweaponX

Really heavy but not that heavy that we can't understand what they're saying. It's enjoyable. Overall good and really short.

Best songs: Everybody Breaks; On my own.

  8. Ice-T

Ice-T is a funny guy, but his second album is much better. This one is kinda boring.

Best Songs: Make It Funky; 409; Squeeze the trigger

  9. Kendrick Lamar

It's alright. Kendrick didn't have that much experience but still did some good songs. There's not much else to say. It's chill.

Best songs: Barbed Wire; Average Joe; Opposites Attract (Tomorrow W/O Her)

  10. Viagra Boys

DNF at first but listened to it fully before writing this and I'm gonna be honest idk why I didn't like finish it. I enjoyed it. It's a fun album. Fun instrumentals and fun lyrics. It's good overall. I was trippin' idk.

Best Songs: Man made of Meat; Pyramid of Health; You N33d Me

  11. Tenacious D

This is the soundtrack for the movie with the same name which is really good. Prime Jack Black with Kyle Gass, rock references, funny jokes and a killer soundtrack with my beloved Dave Grohl as Satan and on the drums of the songs. Is it corny sometimes? Yes, but that doesn't make it worse.

Best Songs: Kickapoo; Classico; The Metal

  12. Beastie Boys

Classic album. Great use of some classic rock samples.

Best Songs: Fight For Your Right; No Sleep Till Brooklyn; Hold It Now, Hit It

  13. LL COOL J

Pretty good OG rap album. Gets really funky in the right mood. LL COOL J revolutionized the rap scene and its fair to say that he did a great job at the time. Not a perfect album but a good one.

Best songs: I'm Bad; The Bristol Hotel; My Rhyme ain't done

  14. Pretty good album. Don't really know what to say. It mixes some metal/rock elements with some electronic elements which are actually really cool.

Best Songs: Target Practice; Incline; Upside Down

  15. Open Mike Eagle

Really chill album. Shoutout "Fionna and Cake" for making Open Mike Eagle for a character

Best Songs: almost broke my nucleus accumbens; michigan j. wonder; my co worker clark kent's secret black box

  16. Eric B. & Rakim

Of the classic rap albums I've listened this is one of the most "modern" ones, with great samples and rhyme schemes.

Best Songs: I Ain't No Joke; I Know You Got Soul; Paid In Full

  17. Boogie Down Productions

Great Samples. One of the earliest rap albums that I like, cause most the rap albums at the time were kinda mid.

Best Songs: South Bronx; 9mm Goes Bang; Word From Our Sponsor

  18. Clipse, Pusha T, Malice

According to the lore, the existence of this album is crazy cause Pusha T and Malice hadn't done something together in a long time and there was a lot of things that happened. The collabs are insane like, Kendrick, Tyler, Nas and the production of Pharrell Williams. It's not really entirely my type of rap but the lyrics and production are great. Fantano gave it a 10/10 but I would say 8 maybe.

Best Songs: F.I.C.O.; E.B.I.T.D.A.; Let God Sort Em Out/Chandeliers

  19. Honningbarna

This is an album from a Norwegian band, which is a language I don't understand but I can still appreciate it. Great songs, full of energy and the instrumentals are on point.

Best Songs: Schäfer; Amor fati; MP5

  20. It's like Taylor Shit if she was good. Like her "Riot" era was better but she is really talented.

Best Songs: Mirtazapine; Disappearing Man; Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party

  21. Prince

Pretty chill. Awesome vocals and production (after all its Prince)

Best Songs: 1999; Little Red Corvette; Lady Cab Driver

  22. Car Seat Headrest

It's pretty chill nothing extraordinary. Really long songs, which are not bad, but 18 minutes are 18 minutes.

A voz do mano parece o António Variações às vezes.

Best Songs: Devereaux; The Catastrophe (Good Luck With That, Man); Gethsemane

  23. Weatherday

Great album. A bit too long cause like, 19 songs is crazy and, of course, out of so many songs, there would be some that I would enjoy less. The guitar and vocals are fire and the whole vibe is cool.

Best Songs: Angel; Radar Ballet; Blood Online

  24. It's cool. at this point idk what else to say

Best Songs: Untitled; Obstacle 1; PDA

  25. Turnstile

Not as good as "Glow on" but still pretty good. I'll explore them later so like same things but less.

Best Songs: NEVER ENOUGH; SOLE; I CARE

  26. Ghost

I was not really a Ghost fan and didn't really know many songs I only knew "missionary man" which i really like and "marry on a cross" which i dont really like, despite being one of their most famous songs.

This album is real good cause its a type of metal that is chill a but still metal, but thats like their whole thing. And also the vocals are really good.

    Best Songs: Peacefield; Lachryma; Excelsis

  27. Earl Sweatshirt

    Short and sweet

    Best Songs: INFATUATION; TOURMALINE; exhaust

  28. She was known as the "High Priestess of Soul" for a good reason. Her voice is amazing. Also beautiful rendition of "The House of the Rising Sun".

Best Songs: Do I Move You?; Day and Night; I Want a Little Sugar In My Bowl

  29. Mobb Deep

R.I.P. Prodigy. Great album that functions as a great ending to Mobb Deep's music career as duo, while also respecting Prodigy's life.

Best Songs: Against The World; Down For You; Taj Mahal

  30. Billy Woods

Great lyrics, instrumentals, production and vibe.

Best Songs: Misery; BLK ZMBY; Lead Paint Test

  31. A bit less funky than the other rap albums I've listened this year but still really good. It does have some 808's but not in a way that makes it annoying like a lot of trap.

    Best Songs: Glory; Community; Sk8

  32. The Backseat Lovers

Chill album with some good instrumentals and vocals.

Best Songs: Watch Your Mouth; Kilby Girl; Maple Syrup

  33. Backxwash

Chill rap album made by a Zambian-Canadian woman which is pretty awesome cause Zambia's flag has a cool birb :). Ok my bad I got silly.

I love the use of real instruments cause that made it so goooood. The lyrics are really good and the performance is awesome, it really sounds like she put her soul on this album and I'm here for it.

Best Songs: Undesirable; 9th Heaven; Dissociation

  34. Queen

Even from the start they were doing great music. Queen is just one hell of a band and I can't wait to hear more albums. I'm sure that the other ones will be better but still great.

Best Songs: Keep Yourself Alive; Great King Rat; Liar; Mad The Swine

  35. Fun album with some really good singles. The Hives are mainly known for "Hate To Say I Told You So" (at least by me) and this album can really reach that level.

Best Songs: Enough Is Enough; Legalize Living; The Hives Forever Forever The Hives

  36. Freddie Gibbs, The Alchemist

Great album. Chill, with some funky samples and awesome production by the great Alchemist.

Best Songs: 1995; Ensalada; Lavish Habits

  38. Amazing production and some pretty funny lyrics. Really cool groves.

Best Songs: Movie Night; John Something; Send Help

  39. This one is awesome. It's the perfect mix of heavy and chill. Gives me BMTH vibes sometimes but not that much.

Best Songs: Two-Headed Trout; Tears on Lambo Leather; Distracted by The Mona Lisa

  40. Foo Fighters

This album was created by Dave Grohl alone. He played every instrument and created a really good album on his own that would create the Foo Fighters, a band with many bangers..

Best Songs: This Is a Call; I'll Stick Around; Big Me

  41. Wednesday

    Really good album. Amazing vocals.

Best Songs: Townies; Wound Up Here (By Holdin On); Pick Up That Knife

  42. Little Simz

You know I appreciate the use of real instruments in songs in general but specially in rap (not really fair to call this just "rap" cause it mixes so many genres and that's kinda what makes this album so good). It brings everything together so nicely. The UK accent makes it so funny on some tracks.

Best Songs: Thief; Only; Free; Lotus (this was kinda hard to choose)

  43. Sampha

Super chill album with a lot of bangers. It mixes a lot of genres with some R&B and it's just so beautiful.

Best Songs: Suspended; Only; Can't Go Back

"Jimmy, are you gonna finish that croissant" - Carl Weezer or something idk

An amazing album and considering it's their debut it's really impressive.

Best Songs: Buddy Holly; Undone - The Sweater Song; Say It Ain't So

  45. Smooth vibes all over. When it comes to soul music, this is some of the finest this genre has to offer in every possible way. I love how everything flows so consistently.

Best Songs: Smooth Operator; When Am I Going to Make a Living; Cherry Pie

One of the best Grunge albums ever.

Best Songs: Them Bones; Rooster; Would?

  52. Maruja

BEAUTIFUL ALBUM. I love brass instruments and when they mix them with metal/rock it creates some amazing songs. The energy of the singer is so intense. There are some long songs but you don't even notice. I would love to see them live (cof cof Sampaio? or anyone really).

Best Songs: Look Down On Us; Saoirse; Break the Tension; Trenches

Best Songs: all good but, im thinking: TMBA; BLOOD & SORROW; STAY; Save You

  54. McKinley Dixon

One of the most beautiful rap albums that I've ever listened. I've been waiting to review this one just to listen to it again. Real instruments once again and I'm telling you it's really incredible. Really jazzy and great lyrics as well. It's just perfect.

Best Songs: Sugar Water; We're Outside, Rejoice!; Listen Gentle; Magic, Alive

  55. Turnstile

Ok so, as of writing this I still have a lot of albums to rate but I can already tell you this is gonna be in the top 5 AT LEAST.

Great riffs, drums, vibes, lyrics, the energy is insane I sometimes find myself with one of this songs in my head and I'm like "DAMN THIS GOES HARD". I didn't know about Turnstile but after this album I think they might be one of the best bands formed in the 2010's. Oh and also: NO SKIPS ON THIS ONE. And one of the songs is in "SKATE.".

Best songs: BLACKOUT; HOLIDAY; ENDLESS; NEW HEART DESIGN

  56. Michael Jackson
