My top (Almost 100) Albums of all time.
Hey why not create a whole language to sing in, and hey while you're at it why not create a whole feeling that can only be conveyed through your language and your music. Sigur Rós is an Icelandic post-rock band that fuses the most wonderful imagination with the most spacey instrumentation. This album really is like no other, one of a kind. I can't even begin to explain it with my limited language, I can only ask you to give it a chance whenever you notice the nights go particularly cold. For that is when it will shine the brightest.
And there will be no favourite lyric for this one, Svefn-g-englar however is my favourite song.

2000
A glacial, luminous ascent into post-rock transcendence. Bowed guitars, falsetto vocals, and swelling strings move like weather systems—slow, inevitable, overwhelming. It made Icelandic dreamscapes feel universal and redefined how emotionally wordless music could be.
